I am pleased to announce that I will be exhibiting at the Swindon Open Studios this year. After many years of building up what is becoming a quite extensive portfolio of work, I now feel it is time to start exhibiting my work more frequently and wider afield. As the saying goes; “from little acorns” – so I hope this opportunity helps me go on to what are my near term aims of a collaborative exhibition with like minded photographer(s) and ultimately a larger solo exhibition.
For this exhibition I have been fortunate to have been offered space alongside the inspirational artist; Vanetta Joffe, at her home and studio – Liddington Manor. This is particularly pertinent to me as I have recently finished an extensive project photographing in the grounds of the Manor (more details here), so to be able to exhibit the work there is a great honour.
I will be displaying work both from the Manor project but also from my other portfolios, including a brand new series as yet unseen (See the flyer for a sneak peek). The book from the Manor project will also be available to view/read.
Alongside my own work for sale; with framed and unframed print options available, I will also have copies for sale of the Triplekite published Land|Sea Vol. 1 book in which I featured alongside four other talented photographers. I can also provide for sale signed copies of the Triplekite print of my limited edition photograph that is only available with purchase with the book.
Vanetta herself has exhibited at the Open Studios before and will be exhibiting and selling new paintings and drawings, photographs, photo designs and life drawings, as well as opening up her studio. I will be manning the exhibition on Sunday 14th, otherwise we will both be available during periods of the exhibition opening hours to discuss our work but please do phone in advance if you want confirmation of our availability. Otherwise, feel free to come along during opening hours to view the artwork, enjoy some refreshments and wander in the lovely gardens of the Manor.
